What You Will Do
Build and manage key relationships with top-tier media to highlight Klarna’s growth, especially among corporate and investor targeting financial press.
Shape Klarna’s reputation through proactive and reactive media strategies that align with our market success and US positioning.
Track market trends and competitor moves to create standout stories that set Klarna apart.
Partner with Investor Relations, Finance, Product and other stakeholders to deliver impactful narratives for the US audience.
Coach Klarna’s C-suite for media and public appearances, ensuring our leaders convey Klarna’s vision and success.
Monitor coverage accuracy and work with journalists to correct any misperceptions.
Provide reputational guidance for emerging issues, reinforcing Klarna’s brand integrity.
Standardize communication processes for high-quality, consistent results.
Drive forward new ideas and initiatives that amplify Klarna’s communications.
Who You Are
A communications pro (6+ years) with experience in corporate and financial comms, investor relations, and a history of success in listed and/or high-growth settings.
Skilled at managing C-suite interactions, offering strategic insights that enhance Klarna’s narrative.
Proactive, news-savvy, and quick to spot opportunities for impactful media engagement.
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and results-driven in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
Ideally, you’ve worked in a listed company, and agency experience is a plus.

Klarna's Compensation model and Equity Offering
At Klarna, our compensation package includes a base salary and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). To ensure fairness and maintain global market competitiveness, each role in a specific location has a set base salary. During the recruitment process, we will assess your skills and experience to determine which role is the best fit for you.
Our RSU program features a 4-year vesting schedule, allowing you to gradually become a shareholder in Klarna. Additionally, you may qualify for our Contribution-Based Reward (CBR) program, which recognizes and rewards significant contributions to our success.
